Weekly Joy Feed

Happy Friday, everyone! Ooh, I’m excited about this week’s Joy Feed (it’s been a while!)!

I hope you had a great week and are looking forward to an extended weekend! What are your plans?

Tomorrow we’re invited to our friends’ new house for brunch and on Sunday Dave’s band, The Sills, is playing at Madison’s Alternative Brat Fest Wurst Times. A crucial election is coming up here in Wisconsin, so we’re going to spend some time volunteering/doing door-to-door canvasing on Monday.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend, and if you haven’t had a chance to check out my interview with the fantastic Studio Lilesadi, make sure to do so :) They’ve got some great advice for creative start-ups and there is also a chance to win one of their lovely hand-signed prints! And now: a round-up of my favorite posts of this week. Enjoy!

I hope you had a great week! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I’ve joined a virtual film club and am looking forward to watching our very first movie: the Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Have you seen it? Also, tonight we’re going to work on the study (I can’t wait to get those ledges up!) and on Sunday we’re spending Easter with Dave’s family, which is always fun :)

Wishing you a wonderful weekend and - if you celebrate it - a happy Easter (may there be many little chocolate eggs & bunnies waiting for you :)!

Just as I was leaving my Zumba class this morning, I was made aware of several crocus that were peeking out from underneath the soil! The snow has melted and it’s starting to feel more and more like spring! Hurray!

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Tonight we’re invited to a little birthday bash and tomorrow the “The Sills" (the band my partner Dave plays in) is having its very first photo shoot! I’ve been invited to join and will be taking some photos, too. I can’t wait to share them with you next week!

Meanwhile, here is some of the wonderfulness I found on the web this week. I’m just always so impressed with people’s creativity - the blogosphere is a truly amazing place! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fun weekend!

Wow this week went fast - happy Friday! What are your plans for the weekend? Tonight we’re having a sleep-over at Dave’s mom’s (our new monthly tradition) and tomorrow we’re looking forward to having some friends over for dinner. Of course we’re really excited about the Oscars as well! Have you seen all the movies you wanted to see? We were going to do a marathon of movies this week, but haven’t gotten quite as far we thought we would. Yesterday we finally saw The Descendants, which was an excellent movie!
